About us

isleofwight.com is owned by Kevin and Fiona Daniells, who have lived most of their lives on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Kevin and Fi spent many years as Estate Agents, building up an enviable knowledge and respect throughout the Island. Selling their business in 2004, Kevin and Fiona bought the domain name isleofwight.com and decided to create a website to promote the Island and all that it has to offer. This they did with the help of Kate McCafferty, who has been by their side every step of the way, making an efficient and knowledgeable team to serve not only Isle of Wight businesses, but website users too. In 2014 we were proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary, which is a major milestone for us all. In that time we have become the Island's no.1 independent tourism portal, providing online booking facilities, business promotion in both print and on the web. Quite simply nobody comes close to what we offer.

Leading Independant Tourism Provider including 24hour hotline to order FREE visitisleofwight.com Tourism Guide 2006 (hotline charged at local rate) or log on to isleofwight.com for all your isle of wight needs, accommodation, video town guides, attractions, eating out, business directory and much more...

About the Isle of Wight

he Isle of Wight has one of the UK's most spectacular and diverse coastlines, and along its length you'll find a wealth of fascinating wildlife, natural beauty and places to explore. The West Wight remains rugged and unspoilt and is a favourite with fossil hunters searching for links with the Island's rich prehistoric past. East Wight is best known for its miles of sandy beaches and seaside attractions, and is perfect for family holidays where sun, sea and sand are the highest priority.
Our award-winning beaches offer safe, clean entertainment for all ages, and if you tire of the beach you can still sun yourself with tennis, golf, walking, mountain biking and every type of water sport around the Island's coast. The Island has retained its status as centre of the yachting world, with sailing regattas and maritime events held throughout the year, and for those more adventurous visitors there are opportunities to indulge in sailing, kitesurfing and windsurfing, whatever your ability or age.
