Testimonials

I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to everyone

As you know, you built and installed a beautiful kitchen for a friend of mine some years ago which is still going strong. So when the time came for us to have a new kitchen we already decided to invite you to build and fit it for us, even though we had never met. Your service from design to completion was consummate and the finished kitchen not only met all our requirements but as a ceramic tiler with 45 years experience in the construction industry, who has seen many, many kitchens installed, I could not be more delighted with our bespoke kitchen. The quality of workmanship you produced and the materials you used were of the highest standard, a rare quality these days, and I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to everyone.

The installation process was well coordinated and the finish excellent

We decided to use Back to Basics for our kitchen after having seen the quality and design of their work. We discussed our ideas with Andy Parsley and thought his ideas were in sympathy with our own. The installation process was well coordinated and the finish excellent. We have a highly functional and attractive kitchen which is much admired, thanks to Back to Basics and lives up to its slogan of, "making wood work beautifully".

Everyone comments on our beautiful kitchen

I am writing to say a BIG thank you for the additional work you have just done to our kitchen. As usual, your workmanship was fantastic and it blends so easily with the kitchen you made three years ago - which still looks like new! Everyone comments on our beautiful kitchen and how well it looks in or old house - little do they know how many obstacles like electricity and boilers you had to juggle around, let alone my desire for a classic country kitchen! Thank you again, we wish you all the best for the future.

We only wish that we had found Back to Basics years ago

Thank you for our lovely new kitchen. Before coming to you we visited several other firms and rejected them, as we were unhappy about either the possible lack of flexibility to meet our requirements or quality of the finished product. However immediately upon visiting your workshop, meeting yourself and seeing your portfolio we knew we had at last found what we wanted. We have not been disappointed and we are delighted with the units and the care and time which you took both to make and fit them and with your patience and good humour in coping with all the changes and modifications which we wanted. We knew that it would be difficult to fit a kitchen in our old house with its crooked walls; however, this did not seem to be a problem to you. It is so rare in these days of standardization to find somebody who has both pride in their workmanship and the skills to overcome the constraints of working in an old house without compromise. We also appreciated that you accommodated our deadlines.
