The main problem with limescale is that unless it is treated, it continually gets worse. With heating systems, the thicker the limescale, more energy is required to heat the same amount of water.

Filters and Purifiers

The TwinTec Drinking water filter is the perfect companion for your hard water drinking tap. It uses activated charcoal, just like popular jug filters, but because it is plumbed directly to the tap there is absolutely no waiting around for water to filter through. It removes chlorine, lead and other heavy metals, and improves the taste of the hard water coming into the house. A filter will last approximately twelve months with normal use, and thanks to its unique bayonet no spill design, is supremely easy to change without having to shut off any taps or valves.
